Sri Radhastami

Sri Radhastami

Sri Radhashtami, also known as Radha Ashtami or Radha Jayanti, is a holy celebration of the divine appearance of Srimati Radharani.

She is considered an embodiment of Shri Krishna's eternal beloved and pure devotion. This festival is especially celebrated with great reverence and joy in the birthplace of Barsana, Radharani, and throughout the entire Braj region.

In the Vaishnava tradition, people not only consider Radharani as a partner of Shri Krishna, but also worship her, considering her the embodiment of devotion and love. Her presence is believed to bring immense spiritual benefits and blessings to her devotees, helping them draw closer to Krishna and experience profound spiritual bliss.

Srimati Radharani embodies divine love and devotion, and her presence is believed to bring immense spiritual benefits and blessings to her devotees.

On this day, devotees worship Radharani affectionately, sing kirtan in his name, and pray that a lamp of honest devotion should be burnt in his heart.
