FOLK (Friends of Lord Krishna) Teens, an initiative by India Heritage Foundation Boston, is a transformative program designed to equip teenagers with essential spiritual wisdom and practical life skills. Rooted in the timeless teachings of Srila Prabhupada’s Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita, the program empowers young minds to lead a life of happiness, health, and inner peace based on practical Vedic wisdom.
At FOLK Teens, learning is an engaging and immersive experience that goes beyond traditional study. The program includes:
Encouraging critical thinking by applying spiritual principles to real-world challenges.
Bringing Vedic wisdom to life through engaging stories and deep philosophical discussions.
Cultivating self-discipline, mindfulness, and a balanced lifestyle.
Learning sacred chants and devotional music to enrich spiritual practice.
By integrating Vedic philosophy into a modern context, FOLK Teens helps young individuals stay connected to their spiritual roots while developing the skills and mindset needed for a purposeful and fulfilling life.
Join us every evening for a spiritually enriching group reading of Srila Prabhupada’s books, conducted over Zoom in the uplifting association of devotees.
Together, we systematically read and reflect on the timeless wisdom of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings—discussing key insights and exploring how to apply them in our daily lives. It’s a wonderful way to unwind each day with nourishing Vedic wisdom and deepen your understanding of Krishna consciousness in a supportive community.
