Ratha Yatra

This is our Second Annual Rathayatra through the streets of Shrewsbury—a sacred opportunity to personally pull the chariot of Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra Devi. With every step, every chant, every drumbeat, the Lord of the Universe smiles upon us.

The procession begins on Saturday, July 5th at 11:00 AM from Shrewsbury Town Hall and concludes at our temple at 226R Grafton Street, where a free prasadam feast will be served to all.

This year’s celebration is even more special as it coincides with Bahuda Yatra, the sacred return journey of the Lord’s chariot in Jagannath Puri. Don’t miss this divine opportunity to sing, dance, and serve in this ocean of mercy as the Lord comes out to meet His devotees.
