Panihati Chida Dahi Utsava

Panihati Chida Dahi Utsava

Panihati Chida Dahi Utsava is a cherished festival in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, celebrating the compassionate pastime of Lord Nityananda Prabhu and Srila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami. This event marks the occasion when Srila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami, upon receiving the blessings of Lord Nityananda, organised a grand feast of chipped rice mixed with yoghurt and other delightful ingredients for the assembled devotees at Panihati.

At Sri Sri Radha Damodara Mandir, Shrewsbury – India Heritage Foundation (IHF), Boston, we invite you to partake in this joyous celebration on Sunday, June 8, 2025. The festivities will include:

    • Abhishekam (sacred bathing ceremony) of Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga
    • Kirtans and Bhajans glorifying the Lord’s pastimes
    • Spiritual discourse on the significance of Panihati Chida Dahi Utsava
    • Distribution of Chida Dahi Mahaprasadam to all attendees
  •

This festival serves as a reminder of the boundless mercy of Lord Nityananda and the transformative power of devotional service. Come with your family and friends to immerse yourself in the spiritual ambience and receive the blessings of the Lord.
