Sri Radhashtami – Appearance of Srimati Radharani
Sri Radhashtami honours Srimati Radharani, the eternal pleasure potency (Hladini-shakti) of Lord Krishna and universal Mother of all souls. Falling on the eighth day of the bright fortnight in the month of Bhadra, this year’s festival will be celebrated on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Devotees fast until noon, praying for Radha’s mercy—the key to attaining Krishna’s love.
New Alankara – Witness Sri Sri Radha Damodara beautifully adorned in a magnificent new dress and jewelry, surrounded by vibrant floral decorations.
Grand Evening Abhisheka – Experience the divine abhishekam as the utsava deities are bathed with panchamrita, fresh fruit juices, and sanctified water, followed by a fragrant shower of multicolored flowers.
Festival Lecture – Listen to a special lecture on the glories of Srimati Radharani and how to receive Her divine mercy.
Shayana Arati – The festival will conclude with a serene and blissful shayana arati, accompanied by the melodious singing of Radhikastakam.
